Your best bet is a professional appraiser. Other than that, your public library probably has a ton of books on antiques that you can check out and use the photos and info to get an idea.

Question by Brapat26: Downtown Seattle Shopping-Need a store name?
I was in downtown Seattle at Christmas time and found a store that I loved but completely forgot about until now. If I recall it is in general across from Pacific Place/Nordstrom. It is a clothing/accessory store. The store is on the corner and appears to take up two stories but once inside it just has high ceilings. The windows are decorated in hundreds of antique sewing machines…. does anyone know the name of this store? I would be incredibly grateful for any help.

Question by Ryan: How do I clean antique cast iron toys?
My grandfather collected then passed down some old cast iron toys. Horses, farm implements, and etc. They were not properly stored. They are dirty and some have mold on them. How do I clean them with out damaging the paint? Also what is the correct way to store them???

find out their value, take it to a professional if it’s worth it, a bad cleaning job could cause them to become worthless
